Where Warm Meets Cool
Half the canvas glows a saturated orange and the other half burns a bright turquoise. Where the two meet, a crowd of short, blocky strokes in blue, red, yellow, black and white clusters across the middle, as though the colors had collided and scattered.
The cluster has a lively, almost musical rhythm. Thin white lines run through it like wires or sound waves, tying the pieces together. Because the two halves are such strong opposites, the center feels like a meeting point, a conversation, a market, or a city seen from far above.
The painting is playful and confident. It celebrates contrast, showing that bright, opposing colors can sit side by side and create energy rather than conflict.
