Rolling Fields
Soft bands of olive green, sage and cream sweep across the canvas in long, flowing curves. Thin lines of blue, orange and pale pink trace the edges of each band, like contour lines on a map or the glint of light along a ridge.
The composition is simple and calming. It can be read as hills, farmland or rivers seen from the air, but it works just as well as a study in shape and color. The palette is earthy and gentle, and the smooth transitions give it a peaceful rhythm.
This is a gentle, easy painting to live with. It adds a feeling of space and quiet to a room without demanding attention.
