We are India’s online art marketplace connecting independent painters, handicraft artisans, and contemporary creators with art enthusiasts searching for unique artwork for sale.
Our mission is to democratize art ownership while empowering artists from every corner of India—from traditional Madhubani painters in Bihar to contemporary abstract artists in metropolitan cities and beyond conventional art galleries. Der Segen was born from a simple belief: real art should be accessible, meaningful, and lived with— not confined to galleries or price barriers.
India is home to extraordinary artists and craftspeople whose work carries stories, skill, and soul. Yet many of these voices remain unseen, underrepresented, or priced out of reach for everyday collectors and art lovers. Der Segen exists to bridge that gap.
As a platform, Der Segen focuses on original art and handcrafted objects, with a special emphasis on emerging and lesser-known artists. Each piece on the platform is curated not just for aesthetic value, but for authenticity, craftsmanship, and the story it carries.
I am Deepika Singhal, Founder and Proprietor of Der Segen. My vision for Der Segen is not to be a marketplace driven by trends, but a thoughtful space where art meets everyday living—where a painting, a brass object, or a handcrafted piece becomes part of a home, a celebration, or a memory.
We work closely with artists, ensuring they retain ownership and creative integrity, while we support them with visibility, marketing, and access to buyers who value originality. For our collectors and customers, we aim to offer art that feels personal, timeless, and honest.
